Zakspeed Mustang Replica Project

The newest project for Allen Racing is to create a replica of the Zakspeed Mustang from the early eighties. We are currently searching for a suitable late model Mustang to begin the project.

Our initial goal is to find a 1979-1993 Mustang in decent shape. Then the cutting and welding will begin. We will cut off the front end and the wheel wells, remove the fenders and gut the interior.

Once that is completed, we will replace the subframe with a complete frame of 2" x 3" DOM steel tubing that runs the length of the the car. Also, a full cage with be added to the interior, and the entire suspension will be replaced. We will fabricate new fenders to cover the wider wheels, and replicate the look of the Zakspeed car with the wide fenders.
For information or any questions, please contact Allen Racing.
